Job Description

Key responsibilities:
	- General finance and accounting activities (reconciliation, financial reporting etc.),
 
	- Control of reporting and statutory compliance across the business, developing and implementing appropriate internal control procedures,
 
	- Review and monitoring of Group tax position, calculations and filings,
 
	- Contributing to the production of detailed accounting and financial analyses to identify opportunities to improve performance,
 
	- Identifying and implementing process improvement and simplification,
 
	- Overseeing all bank accounts and payments,
 
	- Tracking spending across departments,
 
	- Contributing to the elaboration of annual budgets and forecasts of future performance,
 
	- Reviewing the budget to ensure financial objectives are met and major variances are corrected,
 
	- Ad-hoc financial project management tasks as required.

                        Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
                        Our perfect candidate will be hard-working and have a strong sense of initiative to match our company culture. She/he/they will be comfortable interacting and building constructive relationships at senior level in a culturally diverse environment.
In addition, she/he/they will have:
	- Relevant degree education (MSc Finance/Accounting or similar)
 
	- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
 
	- 5-10 years accounting and finance experience in the financial services sector, ideally in FinTech and/or in a fast-growing start-up environment,
 
	- Advanced proficiency in Excel, working knowledge of Xero.
 
	- Strong financial modelling, data management and data analysis skills,
 
	- Experience working with senior business leaders,
 
	- Excellent communication skills,
 
	- The willingness to follow up on the implemented procedures and strategies, and to report results to the team.
 
	- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong team playing & problem solving skills are also vital in this role.
