Job Description
- Support the Head of Accounting Policy and Corporate Centre, in delivering a full accounting policy and advisory service;
- Analyze transactions, new products and accounting issues, and produce accounting opinions on them;
- Provide technical support on the implementation of new policies and requirements;
- Identify changes in external accounting, regulatory and legal requirements;
- Participate in industry forums.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) with demonstrable post-qualification experience;
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of applying IFRS accounting standards in practical business situations;
- Knowledge and experience in financial instruments accounting and structured transactions;
- Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
