                        Job Description
                        This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented and driven part-qualified Cost Accountant!
Main Duties
	- Perform standardized SAP CO & FI transactions & CO reporting including:
 
	- Standard cost planning as part of the annual budget process and new part number creation. Interaction with plant representatives in understanding BOM and routing changes and purchasing details.
 
	- Production order (PDO) process including the review of WIP and settlement of completed production orders. Review of audit logs and financial output to ensure completeness and accuracy.
 
	- Project Systems (PS) process including the review of WIP and settlement of completed projects. Review of audit logs and financial output to ensure completeness and accuracy.
 
	- Drive sales order process including settlement of completed sales orders and reviews.
 
	- Be assertive with plant based associates to ensure business receives relevant information in a suitable format.
 
	- Analyze cost Centre spend vs budget and reporting key variances to plant cost Centre owners.
 
	- Determine and deliver initial review of weekly plant ‘flash reports’ to show actual vs forecast performance vs key critical metrics and financial performance.
 
	- Completion of SOX controls as per work instructions.
 
	- Preparation of good quality balance sheet reconciliations and identification and management of actions to ensure the balance sheet remains current and clean.
 
                        
                     
                    
                    
                        
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
                        Intermediate or advance level of study in professional accounting qualifications. Knowledge of US GAAP. Use of SAP preferred. Experience of management accounting within a manufacturing environment, and familiarity with controlling and costing concepts.
