• Work with and support the doctors and nurses in their role on the wards
• Caring and understanding of the needs of patients  
• An ability to cover day shifts
• An ability to carry out tests,
• Care for, support, and provide information to patients and their families.
• Look after the physical comfort of patients
• Serving meals and helping to feed patients.
• Helping people to move around.
• Toileting.
• Making beds.
• Talking to patients and making them comfortable.
• Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight
