Reinsurance Accounts Technician

An opportunity has arisen at the London operation of this global reinsurance business. They are looking for an experienced technician with a strong background in Reinsurance.

Core responsibilities include:

• Validation and processing of complex Assumed Treaties and Facultative Covers,
• Analysis of accounting data, assisting in quarterly management reporting
• Reconciliation of assumed/ceded reinsurance ledgers
• Raising and processing of payments/receipts onto internal systems
• Investigating and resolving internal and external accounting queries
• Monitor cash/unapplied cash, outstanding accounts and conduct effective credit control activities in maintaining unsettled balances
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with brokers
