Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant plays a key role in the budget monitoring and month end close for the organisation.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for the month end closing of a specific area of the organisation and will act in a Finance Business Partnering capacity, delivering comprehensive financial management support to key budget holders.

You will report on actuals v budgets and provide robust information to finance and stakeholders.

home working with some visits to the office (when required)

Salary c£18 - £22 per hour

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will ideally be a qualified accountant holding ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualifications You will ideally worked in the Public Sector, however this is not essential. You will be able to evidence excellent Management Accounting skills including budgeting, budget monitoring, variance analysis and reporting. You will have excellent people management skills. You will be able to influence senior stakeholders in the organisation. Good systems skills including excel
