Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Ensuring financial processes meet policy requirements; preparing journals and reconciliations
- Supporting with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and longer-term strategies
- Monitoring income; raising sales invoices and managing debtors
- Assisting with purchase invoice processing and payment runs
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance department, including audit preparation, journal postings and funding bids
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part-qualified status (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or actively studying
- Experience working within a finance department; 2+ years desirable
- Exposure to the production of financial reports
- Confident user of Excel and other accounting systems; knowledge
- Great communication skills; the ability to communicate financial information effectively
