Job Description
Daily bank checks, including checking receipts into all the client and office accounts throughout the day
Identifying receipts daily;
Acknowledging receipt of funds; and
Allocating receipt of funds to Case Accounts in the Client Ledger.
Being the primary contact for international cases;
Closing cases and making sure financials are in order;
Reconciling individual case accounts with financial summaries; and
Producing sales billing to clients, created from analysis of staff time-based ledgers.
Checking that fee notes are accurate and reflect agreed terms;
Ensuring sufficient funds are available in relation to the case;
Co-coordinating foreign exchange transactions for international payments (UK only);
Creating payments via online banking (UK only);
Batching the payment run (UK only); and
Recording the payment run in the Client Ledger system.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in a legal or other professional environment;
Good written English and telephone manner;
Have strong numeracy and financial literacy skills;
Be alert to potential risk and compliance issues at an early stage;
Have excellent attention to detail;
Possess strong time management and administrative skills;
Be punctual and meet deadlines consistently;
Be able to work well under pressure, proactively priorities tasks, multi-task and be reliable;
Be a self-motivated team-player;
Have an organized approach to work;
Take responsibility for their own actions and demonstrate drive and enthusiasm in everyday work;
Achieve planned work and set own performance standards; and
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others in the team as well as externally.
