Job Description

We are working with a highly stable and prestigious international banking organization who are seeking a Financial Controller. They require an ACCA/CIMA/ACA/ACMA with 7 + years of Finance experience within the banking sector. You will be directly reporting to the CFO of the bank, with the responsibility of managing a small team including finance assistant and regulatory reporting professionals.

You will required to manage the following:

• Supervision of Regulatory and Financial Reporting Functions (Including Management Reporting and Statutory Financial Statements) IFRS 9 implementation developed the comprehensive framework of COREP and FINREP Reporting.
• Group Reporting (Financial & Risk)
• Annual Corporate Tax computation and liaison with tax consultants and HMRC.
• Review of quarterly VAT returns and annual adjustment calculations.
• Make necessary changes in the accounting system according to IFRS requirements.
• Prepare 5 years projections, ICAAP and ILAAP including all related workings with stress tests.
• Preparation of Regulatory Business Plan of the Bank, Assist CFO in preparation of Contingency Funding Plan, Financial Risk Management Policy and Recovery & Resolution Plan of the Bank.
• Assist CFO in preparation of Board Meeting Packs including preparation of Board presentations.
• Develop and implemented various business MIS for Management Reporting.
• Member and secretary of Asset and Liability of the bank.
• Improve and enhance the system of existing Regulatory Reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have banking experience in a senior finance role in the UK.
• Fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA or even ACMA
• Leadership skills; experience of managing a team of direct reports, including training and appraisals of team members.
