Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and work with various stakeholders across the business to ensure the correct oversight and where required submission of our regulatory position. This broad stakeholder base has different needs and requirements with regards to understanding the regulatory framework and requirements across the region. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of capital reporting requirements for all entities in the Group, principally UK and Ireland.
  • Able to interact with key stakeholders on regulatory and capital information
  • Manage the process change to new rules
  • Understand and interpret new regulations and their impact on the Group.
  • Calculation / collation of monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting submissions
  • Working across the business to ensure the correct categorization of key metrics impacting the regulatory reporting.
  • Ownership of internal controls and processes
  • Recommend approach for ambiguous rules or identified issues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to Degree level
  • Qualified accountant (preferred by not essential)
  • Experience in regulatory reporting
  • Interest in developing a detailed knowledge of regulatory rules and developments
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Confident, with the ability to deal with multiple internal clients
  • Highly organized, adherence to internal deadlines and appropriate escalation any issues
  • Self-starter, able to work independently whilst ensuring engagement with the wider finance team
