Job Description
The purpose of the role will be to provide effective support to clients and senior finance colleagues and for the production of management and statutory accounts and financial/statistical returns. You will also conduct the following activities:
You will:
- Ensure that deadlines are met for central budget preparation
- Meet with budget holders to discuss budget controls and identify savings and pressures within the service
- Reconciling and assisting with monitoring accounts, financial planning, investigating errors and processing accounting adjustments
- Undertake accounting for very large amounts, including budget monitoring
- Run financial reports from the general ledger to update spreadsheets
- Produce monthly sets of Trading Accounts
This is a remote-working opportunity, but you must be based in the UK due to the requirement to get IT to you. There is the possibility for an immediate interview/start for suitable candidates.
