Job Description
  • Daily management of the department’s busy inbox, completing, forwarding and delegating the emails which are received.
  • Complete full administration process of training courses to ensure effective delivery of inductions and internal courses, which will include ensuring delegate lists are up to date, printing of training materials required, training rooms are booked and any other requirements are managed accordingly.
  • This will require ownership of the complete booking process from initial request through to post course activities with multiple courses being scheduled at any one time.
  • Ensure pre and post course tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Use the Training Management System to support all training activities
  • Communicate with trainers, supporting staff, delegates and line managers
  • Manage monthly processes and reporting which are required in order to remain compliant
  • Support the training department with administrative tasks when required, such as raising purchase orders, organizing materials, providing external providers with information
  • Data entry and data updates are also required regularly on the Training Management System

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate excellent customer services skills along with experience of supporting others with a variety of different enquiries
  • Must demonstrate effective communication, both verbally and written as well as the ability to build effective relationships with all staff and work within a team environment
  • Must be able to priorities own workload, with a flexible approach and use their initiative in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work to a high standard, with attention to detail and ensuring that outstanding queries and tasks are completed and closed off
  • Experience of working with different systems within one role and accurate use of those systems
