Job Description
- Responsibility for the monthly general ledger close activities for US GAAP
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset ledger
- Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals to ensure high quality compliance with US GAAP
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Complete SOX controls in line with control matrix
- Oversight of outsourced business partner
- Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure timely completion of Internal and External audits.
- Perform analytics to ensure accuracy of financial information
- Identify opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce costs
- Provide input on an ad hoc basis for key stakeholders
- Provide input and co-ordinate project
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Accounting Qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- 3-5 years relevant experience – preferably with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background
- SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable
- Fixed Asset accounting knowledge preferable
- Experience in preparation of Financial Statements preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Able to work alone to understand and summarize financial data into high quality, accurate and usable summaries
- Strong computer skills especially MS Office
