Job Description
- Preparation of Month end management accounts for a number of reporting units
- Provision of Month End Reporting Packs for Management review
- Report monthly IFRS results to Group on a timely basis
- Perform all necessary group filings to strict deadlines
- Reconciliation of Inter-Company Positions
- Provide monthly results and forecast to the Performance Reporting team in Head Office and provide explanations on variances to plan
- Preparation of Annual Statutory Financial Statements
- Planning , Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and foster good relationships with Group
- Ad Hoc Queries
- Explanation of ZIC Daily Fx Movement
- Understanding of Treasury Products & the Impact on Financial Statements
- Understanding of Capital Injections/Dividends and the impact on Financial Statements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum 1-2 years PQA
- Experienced within financial services
- Professional qualification in accountancy
- Knowledge of IFRS is required
- Knowledge of SAP necessary
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products. Excellent knowledge of Excel is essential.
- Ability to work on his/her own initiative and without close supervision.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to schedule work according to the time available is essential
- A good problem solver, with the ability to think outside the box
- A flexible team player
- Ability to resolve conflicts, work with diverse cultures collaboratively, manage stakeholder sensitivities.
