Job Description
- Preparing monthly schedules and posting journals for:
- Prepayments for all UK subsidiaries
- Accruals for all UK subsidiaries
- Fixed Assets
- Capitalization of staff costs (internally generated assets
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supervising the work of the Accounts Payable Assistant and Credit Controller and provide support to colleagues in the finance team
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Ensuring compliance with internal control processes
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports requested by UK Finance Manager
- Support with liaising with external auditors
- Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 2+ years prior experience of preparing management accounts in an industry setting
- Fully qualified AAT or part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
