Job Description
- Banking: all money and checks are deposited with the bank.
- Bank (Daily) and petty cash (weekly) recs.
- Liaise/assist with monthly stocktakes
- Sage posting including accruals, prepayments
- Liaising with suppliers and obtaining monthly statements
- Acting as first point of contact for all homeowner account related queries
- Maintaining invoicing and payment procedures daily.
- Night Audit / End of day reporting
- Completes the general cashier summary and post
- Monthly auditing of accounts
- End of month / quarter financial process
- Draft profit and loss accounting
- Prepayments / accruals
- Cashflow forecasting
- Bank administration
- Preparation of vat returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience using Sage (or similar accounting packages). Strong IT Skills, especially Excel.
- Accounting experience with some in the hospitality industry
- AAT, or working towards this.
- Strong numeric skills
- Excellent organization skills, to be able to clearly priorities workloads and tasks and be used to multi-tasking
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, but also follow instruction
- Due to locations of sites you will need to be able to drive as well.
- Must be based in UK with full rights to work in the UK
