Assistant Accountant

Job Description
- Preparation of various monthly journals; Prepayments, Accruals, Accrued Income, Recharges etc
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of large volumes of data
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and the month end pack
- Responsible of Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation journals
- Project costs tracking and reporting
- Assist the Head of finance on various projects aimed at increasing processes’ efficiency
- Involvement in the scoping and introduction of new system projects with focus on accounting processes for month end purposes
- Assist in the year-end accounts and audit; preparing audit schedules and working files
- Other ad hoc duties
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT qualified
- 2-3 years experience working in a finance environment
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Sumifs, etc)
