Job Description
- Responsible for all UK Company statutory accounts
- Improve and streamline statutory accounts preparation.
- Prepare and review all corporation tax returns for the UK and overseas branch companies.
- Responsible for all UK VAT returns and advise other areas of the business on best practices for VAT treatment.
- Main point of contact with external tax advisors, working on best practice and full compliance.
- Assist in the review of and re engineering of processes in order to achieve efficiencies and improve effectiveness of controls.
- Support the annual local and corporate external audits.
- Maintain "best practice" corporate governance and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
- Assist Internal Audit function covering UK companies and overseas branches.
- Other ad-hoc related tasks
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified accountant
- Two years experience
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build relationships across departments
- International exposure
