Job Description
- Assist with the day to day running of the team
- Ensure all payments are made on a timely basis
- Ensuring allocated control accounts are regularly reconciled;
- Prepare the interim and annual accounts of allocated subsidiary and associated companies.
- Liaise with Banks with regard to day to day running of the company accounts
- Be part of the team making payments via all available payment methods
- Complete or assist with the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations, resolving queries where applicable
- Assist with the preparation of annual accounts and help ensure that control accounts are reconciled within prescribed deadlines at the year end.
- Assist with the documentation of internal procedures
- Undertake special system projects, when required.
- Monitor the completion of control accounts and its subsidiary companies, for review by the Financial Accountant.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part qualified in an Accounting Qualification ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification
- Working with a busy complex business
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the practical application of financial accounting techniques
