Job Description
- Full ownership of the finance department including raising external finance in liaison with the legal teams.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the finance package on a regular basis.
- Work closely with ops directors to resolve any cashflow issues.
- Prepare board report and including monthly consolidated management accounts.
- Issue departmental monthly cost to date repots.
- Providing timely information and assist other department in any financial matters.
- Other report when and as required.
- Full ownership of yearends group accounting and leads the year-end accounts.
- Quarterly balance sheet reconciliation including post necessary journal entries.
- Ensure all enter company recharges and reconciliation are performed on a quarterly basis.
- Full ownership of the company secretary and file confirmation statements when due.
- Working closely with JV accountant to ensure JV accounts are maintained.
- Accounting for leases including sales and lease back.
- File accounts for property management companies.
- Full ownership of VAT such as that opening and closure of VAT schemes including election land tax.
- Prepare and file VAT returns
- Open and closure CIS schemes including filing both contractors and sub-contractors CIS returns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good understanding in Sage accounts line 50, sage payroll and payroll manger.
- Managerial experience at a senior level.
- Property Development experience.
