Job Description
Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts
Evaluating new credit request and reviewing customers credit rankings with credit insurance company
Ensuring timely payment of debts, following up prepayments and deposits as needed
Processing and reconciliation of invoices
Checking and posting of receipts to booking system and accounts software
Transferring Sales invoices from booking system
Maintaining Customers database
Preparation of customer statements
Running combination reports and following up daily reminders with customers or Sales Offices
Summaries receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals
Provide management with regular feedback and detailed reports on key accounts
Produce monthly Aged Debtors
Processing Purchase Ledger invoices
Assisting with Payment Run
Multi-currency Bank reconciliations
Credit Card reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bookkeeping
Credit Control
Purchase Ledger
Reconciliation
Good knowledge and experience of processing Sales and Purchase Ledger invoices
Credit Control experience
Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
Double entry bookkeeping
Good knowledge of Excel - Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, and Logical Formulas
