Job Description
Review of purchase invoices and processing through the accounting platform
Ensuring invoices are approved by correct department heads
Maintenance of group creditor listing
Bank reconciliations
Liaise with agents to collect statements
Prepare import templates with monthly rental and service charge movements
Maintain nominal ledger
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT qualified / ACCA / ACA part qualified or a degree in accounting / finance
Strong double entry bookkeeping experience required
Excellent knowledge of cloud accounting applications, preferably Xero, Dext, and Approval Max
Ideally would have knowledge of working in asset management or real estate
Experience of the purchase to pay process
Analytical, with demonstrated examples of problem solving
Good level of commercial awareness and an understating of various business models used in different sectors
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong level of Excel skills - VLOOKUPs and pivot tables would be beneficial
Ability to work well in a team, with strong people and time management skills
Comfortable liaising with individuals across all levels of a finance team including senior management
Keen to enhance expertise and knowledge
Ability to develop new initiatives to generate efficiencies and better ways of working
