Job Description
- Preparation of VAT Returns including VAT legislation and VAT treatment
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for Partner/Client review
- Accounting for monthly adjustments (prepayments, accrued and deferred income and accruals) as part of preparing management accounts
- Recording bank payments, receipts and bank reconciliations
- Recording sales and purchase ledger
- Control account reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A good grasp of double entry bookkeeping and experience of maintaining bookkeeping records on a digital platform
- Experience of dealing with clients’ queries re bookkeeping and VAT and able to give clear and concise explanations to queries.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral and able to communicate with clients from a range of sectors.
