Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Assist with the financial statements preparation for the group
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Ensure purchase/sales invoices and expenses are accurately accounted for
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Preparation of monthly journals for all prepayments and accruals
- Assist with the monthly management accounts preparation including any analysis needed
- Manage the bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the annual audit process and provide relevant information
- Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- An accountant with a minimum of 5-8 years relevant experience with financial services; either qualified or QBE
- Working knowledge of consolidations and multi-currencies is beneficial
- Experience of working in a SME environment is preferable
- Used to working in a flexible and agile environment to meet deadlines
- Strong excel skills
