Job Description
- Work closely with the rest of the team on coordination and delivery of statutory reporting
- Support/lead on annual audits, liaising with external auditors and Internal departments to complete the audits within tight deadlines
- Support the rest of the team from a technical accounting perspective.
- Proactively support the Financial Controller on tax matters, Including Balance Sheet tax reconciliations, tax questionnaires and PSA submissions.
- VAT reconciliations and submission for the UK entities and a few European branches.
- Coordinate the monthly working capital review and submission.
- Reconcile and review key Balance Sheet accounts and support the Management Accountant in the collation and review of the month end pack.
- Maintain and reconcile capital lease schedules, applying the correct accounting treatment.
- From a Finance perspective, review and approval of the monthly payroll submission.
- Ad hoc tasks as would be expected of the role.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Technically strong accountant, preferably from a Practice background.
- Some Industry knowledge (PR/Advertising/Consultancy) beneficial.
