Job Description
Manage general supplier ledgers.
Manage and record transactions in Sage.
Creating bank payments, bank receipts and journals.
Maintain an accurate aged purchase and sales ledger.
Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
Process invoices and expense claims on a weekly basis, resolving queries as needed.
Provide departments with monthly general ledger reports and look into any queries.
Manage corporate credit cards for staff.
Process online payments, as well as manual payments and remittance advice as needed.
Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure all queries are dealt with.
Manage post and reconcile petty cash entries
Generate sales ledger invoices and credit notes.
Post monies received and allocate against invoices on a receipted basis.
Credit control, including customer reminders and chasing for payment.
Prepare weekly and monthly cash balance reports.
Prepare monthly multi-currency bank reconciliations.
Complete quarterly VAT returns
Liaise with the Compliance team to ensure that contracts are in place for all purchase invoices.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree educated with strong academics.
Strong IT skills – Excel, SAGE
Experience working in or with large corporate organizations.
An interest in sport and the sports industry will be advantageous.
Experience working with intercontinental multi-currency organizations.
Highly organized, with the ability to simultaneously work on different entities and adhere to tight, changing deadlines, often under extreme pressure.
Confident communicator with both finance and non-finance customers and staff.
