Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Ensuring corporate policies are adhered to and financial controls and processes are in place
- Communicating best practice procedures of internal control, segregation of duties and risk management
- Working with the Finance Controlling teams to ensure month end deadlines are met
- Responsible for the Balance sheet reconciliations allowing timely review
- Ensuring regulatory reporting deadlines and disclosures are met for VAT/TAX/Intrastat and Statutory accounts
- Co-coordinating the annual external audit; continuously improving processes, controls, and analytics
- Liaising with corporate departments such as tax, accounting and treasury as and when required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience
- Experience in working with senior level stakeholders across different functions
- Continuous improvement experience
- Manufacturing industry or similar desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical subjects to non-finance managers at all levels of the organization
- Advanced Excel including pivot tables
