Job Description
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Maintain the fixed assets registers, prepayments, accruals, intercompany and post journals.
- Oversee and own the bookkeeping process to ensure the trial balances fully reconciled each month, including intercompany and payroll.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Review and approve weekly and monthly payment runs to be processed by accounts payable - multiple currencies across multiple subsidiaries.
- Support the accounts payable and the finance assistant with any queries and further develop their experience as necessary.
- Significant involvement in the year-end and audit process.
- Identify any problems and provide solutions, and work cross-functionality to improve the efficiency of processes.
- Involvement in on-going project work within the finance team as and when required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 2+ Years experience working as a management accountant.
- Part-qualified - CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Very good high level understanding of Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in payroll is highly advantageous
