Job Description
Issuing invoices
Assisting in creating and managing the budget, incorporating historical data.
Setting up expenses cards and monitoring the usage and post transactions to the ledgers
Coordinating with external Accountancy professionals/outsourced consultants
Seek approval for company expenditure, manage the staff expenses, post to ledgers, and pay staff in a timely manner.
Setting up bank accounts and managing banking relationships.
Monitor the daily transactions and post them to the ledgers accordingly.
Monthly bank reconciliation Reconcile
Monitoring and balancing cash flows
Ensuring compliance, tax provisions and relevant regulations are adhered to; monitoring company policies and internal controls
Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
Setup new suppliers and contractors
Credit control
Preparing company VAT returns
Assisting with tasks in relation to planning and strategy.
Attend weekly financial and business meetings
Report on financial matters.
Liaising with staff across the company offering support re finance/accounting matters
Assistance with the onboarding process with clients/suppliers
Preparation of payroll
Pensions administration
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally ten years and experience of working within finance
Strong Excel skills
Analytical skills; strong report writing
Hardworking team player, able to liaise well at all levels; good communication skills
