Job Description
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparing balance sheets reconciliation
- Complete quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance and keeping up to date with any changes to VAT
- Raising sales invoices and debt collection
- Assist with the preparation of cash flow
- Working closely with and providing support to the wider finance function
- Contribute to the delivery of year-end financial statements and corporation tax process.
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc analysis, reporting? And projects
- Support and Cover for the Assistant Accountant
- Assist with Margins finalizations and reviews
- Oversee and manage manufacturer's invoices in accordance with the shipment dates
- Support on Ad hoc tasks
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- start-up mindset and works well in small teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using accounts software would be desirable, we currently use Xero
- Intermediate excel experience
- Experience in retail finance is desirable but not essential
