Job Description
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, year-end accounts, annual budgets
- Provision of a monthly report
- Managing and overseeing a remote team
- Attending the monthly management meeting
- Monitoring margin reports
- Monitoring business costs and re-negotiating supply contracts
- Financial Accounting - processing supplier invoices, preparing payments
- VAT returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or similar)
- Experience of managing a small accounting team and producing monthly and year end accounts
- An intelligent, approachable person with excellent communication skills
- A team player with natural motivational and hands on approach
- Good understanding of business and commercial issues
- Ability to keep a tight cost base
