Job Description
Checking and processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy
Match and batching of invoices.
Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations
Maintain stock values after shop stock takes.
Review shop figures with shop manager to ensure margins reported correctly
Actively seeking to develop and improve on internal processes.
To provide support by answering telephone calls and resolving queries where possible.
Undertaking any other duties, which may be requested by Finance Management.
Assisting with preparation of year-end audit files.
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and a down to earth approachable manner.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel.
Highly Organized, excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage their own workload and meet deadlines
Analytical thinker, question and applies common sense to tasks.
You will need to be numerate and analytical with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Prior experience of working in a busy, high volume environment.
Prior experience of balance reconciliations would be an advantage.
Working within an in-house finance team.
