Job Description
- Assist with preparing monthly accounts for the plc costs entity
- Assist with preparing monthly financial reports
- Support the wider team to produce the Annual
- Develop strong technical accounting knowledge to assist with Share based payments and Acquisition and Disposal Accounting
- Assist with preparing statutory accounts
- Assist with preparing budget and forecast financial schedules and reports
- Build strong relationships within the wider team supporting continuous improvement in reporting financial information
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and responding to ad-hoc requests
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A strong exam track record to date
- Degree level education or equivalent
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to priorities and adhere to timetables
- A commitment to becoming an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
- Strong attention to detail
- A high level of personal drive and motivation
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to use initiative
- A positive outlook and 'can-do’ attitude
