Job Description
- Monthly revenue recognition, and analysis of spares and service jobs
- Preparation of month/year end closing entries including accruals and prepayments
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and the preparation of supporting schedules.
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
- Assisting the Financial Controller with the monthly financial reporting
- Management of the outsourced payroll function
- Calculation and input of monthly VAT claims
- Manage the financial systems including month end and year end routines
- Review financial systems for suitability and efficiency, and identify improvements in performance that can be made going forward
- Represent Finance on Jobscope projects and any internal user group meetings
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ideally you will be a qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Accountant or equivalent
