Job Description
- To support the heads of departments with cost center analysis to compare cost with budget
- To work on a cash forecast for projects
- To help build up budget for the UK entities with Global Finance and Local Finance Heads
- To support the foreign exchange management and cash management
- To support the Financial Accountant in daily tasks
- Manage the accounting and costing systems to ensure that all information is accurately shown in the monthly reports
- To assist in the review and development of financial systems and processes with the Global Finance team.
- Support with audit preparation and month end reporting, inter-company accounting, Intercompany Balance maintenance
- Demonstrate effective working relationships with colleagues and managers.
- Help with banking and bonding management
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Graduate and/or CIMA qualified or CIMA Finalist
- Conversant with foreign currencies
- Epicor Accounting system
- Exposure to foreign subsidiaries
- Database exposure
- At least three years' experience in contract costing
- Project Accounting; Percentage completion accounting
- Up-to-date technical knowledge
- Possess excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of MS Office
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management
- An innovative approach to problem-solving
