Job Description
- Daily reconciliation of the companies bank accounts and Company credit card accounts
- Process purchase invoices / credit notes for the group companies
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger
- Preparation of the supplier's payment run for approval
- Process employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions
- Process internal purchase order requests
- Reconciliation of the intercompany nominal codes
- Posting of monthly journal entries for fixed assets depreciation
- Posting of Group internal charges and intercompany transactions
- Regular meetings with consultants to ensure accurate revenue control and timely client invoicing, driving those conversations
- Processing large volume of customer invoices
- Tracking the work in progress and liaising with the consultants to drive project invoicing
- Reconciling trade debtors and chasing debt
- Assisting with the management of aged debtors and resolution of client account queries
- Undertaking credit control processes to ensure prompt payments of due invoices
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3+ year’s experience working as part of a finance function
- A background within the Creative industry is highly desirable
- Part qualified or studying towards a professional qualification would be ideal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT proficient with strong MS Excel
- Educated to a good standard of literacy and written communication
- Proactive, with the ability to work on own initiative
- Methodical and systematic approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
