Job Description
- Deliver on-time activities concerning the Bank’s month-end closing process and reporting
- Deliver the half-year and full-year group reporting packs, ensuring accuracy of output and adherence to review processes.
- Deliver the annual financial statements and ensure an effective and issue-free external audit.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual VAT. Returns and oversee the review of the Bank’s PESM on a periodic basis.
- Enhance and automate key manual processes as agreed with the Financial Controller.
- Enhance review processes by delivering additional analysis to support management review of key outputs.
- Collaborate with the Management Accountant to deliver management reporting to the Bank as necessary.
- Assist the Regulatory Accountant with inputs and support on regulatory reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant with minimum of two years relevant post qualified experience.
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
