Job Description
- Preparation of consolidated accounts (both management and statutory) for the Group
- Support of subsidiary companies in preparation of their submission
- Own the consolidation process, intercompany reconciliations, and completeness of intercompany recharges
- Meeting reporting deadlines
- Close attention to detail and ensure accurate allocation of transactions and maintenance of financial systems
- Ensure consolidated accounts and other reports (budgets, forecasts, etc.) are correctly maintained
- Ensure records are sufficient for external audit and liaison with auditors
- Preparation of consolidated accounts
- Processing of elimination entries and maintain supporting workings
- Maintenance of charts of account and consistent formats/treatment of transactions in each business
- Contribution to forecasting, budgeting, and regular reporting
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong academics, graduate with a 2:1 degree. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Newly qualified or 1+ years PQE experience of operating in a telecom/high tech business
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in group accounting and consolidation
- Experience of corporate reporting function
- Technical accountant with experience of dealing with large volumes of complex transactions
- Ambitious, keen to get hands on experience in a fast-changing scale-up environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Detail oriented - ensuring audit trail is kept and strict version control
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in technology industry
