Job Description
- Complete month end processes, including management of all accruals, provisions and prepayments
- Production of actual balance sheet at month end to tight reporting deadlines for group consolidation.
- Review and present monthly financial result to Senior Management
- Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations and management of all balance sheet accounts
- Production of regular forecasts and annual budgets
- Production of key reports for inclusion in management accounts
- Production of sales and operational reports for managers within the business
- Control of customer rebates
- Maintenance of fixed assets register and capital projects
- Submission for all third party reports - National Statistics etc.
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Production of key reports for external bank reporting and audits
- Preparation of schedules and samples for external audits
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- This position will appeal to candidates who are working towards or possess an accountancy related Degree or ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification
