Job Description
- Budgetary control, providing advice and guidance on the financial impacts of ongoing change management projects
- Assist with identifying opportunities for information/quality improvements
- Assist in providing high quality financial management reports in line with IFRS standards
- Assist with the overall annual business planning and budget setting process
- Support Managers and teams in understanding the detail behind information
- Develop objective analysis and activity analysis in order to information
- Liaison with external auditors
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Presentation of financial information and assisting with financial discussions at senior management meetings
- The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within a similar role, previous Public Sector experience would be highly beneficial
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ideally will be a CIMA/ACCA qualified candidate with relevant experience at a senior level.
- Must have previous supervisory experience
- Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
- The ability to explain complex financial information in a clear, concise manner
- Must have previous experience in implementing financial Management strategies, plans and policies
- Highly motivated, diligent and able to demonstrate attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
