Financial Accountant
Contract, full-time
Job Description
- Reporting the monthly results for holding companies
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounting system to group reporting system monthly reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts with other group companies
- Chasing intercompany debts
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs
- Completion of national statistics returns
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts for holding companies
- Completing audit confirmations and answering audit queries
- Ensure timely invoicing for intercompany recharges
- Posting journals to the general ledger
- Bank Account reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part qualified Accountant studying towards ACCA/CIMA or Qualified Accountant
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and interactions of ledgers is required
- Confident communicator both verbally and written
- A flexible/adaptable approach to work
- Flexibility to match working hours to department demand
